Common questions
I can't log in.+
Tap "send magic link" on the login page and check your email — including spam. If your email changed, contact support and we’ll merge your account.
A friend can't see the plan I sent them.+
Plans default to "invite only." Check the visibility setting in the plan’s edit panel (organizer-only). "Friends" lets anyone you’re mutual friends with see it; "Public" lets anyone with the link in.
My receipt didn't parse right.+
Tap the line items to edit. We’ll get better with feedback — if a particular receipt failed, email us the photo and we’ll tune the parser.
How do I get paid back?+
Set up payouts at /profile/payouts. Stripe verifies your identity and your friends can pay with a card in one tap. Otherwise, Venmo deeplinks still work.
A user is harassing me.+
On their profile, tap the three-dot menu → "Block user." They won’t see you in any feeds, plans, or DMs. Use "Report" for things that need our review.
Delete my account.+
Email support@jumpoff.app from the address on file. We delete your profile, plans, DMs, and saved spots within 7 days. Comments and votes you left on others’ content stay (anonymized).
Troubleshooting
Push notifications stopped.+
iOS: Settings → Notifications → JumpOff → make sure "Allow" is on. On the web, open /notifications and tap "enable push."
Voice mode says 'no mic.'+
Browser permission. Tap the lock icon in the URL bar → "Microphone" → Allow. Refresh the page.
The 'add to calendar' link gives me a 404.+
Make sure the plan has a locked date. Polls without a locked option won’t export. Organizer can lock a date from the plan detail page.
